Ingredients

120gm macadamias
6 dates, pits removed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, or the seeds from 2 vanilla pods
5L filtered water

Note: You will need a nut bag

Method

Cut the dates in half to pull out pits, drop them, macadamias, vanilla and water into a very high speed blender and blend until combined. Basically you don't want to see any chunks of nuts or dates. You'll notice a fair amount of froth forming at the top.

Pour 1/4 the mixture into the nut bag and squeeze the milk out into containers. Once complete discard/compost the pulp.

Makes about 2L. Use within 5 days. Shake well before using.
